Credited with reviving the popularity of science, Brian’s engaging style and incredible knowledge have made him an international sensation. In this talk he examines how deep space can be explained and experienced by re-examining the familiar here on Earth.
Brian will also introduce us to planets and moons beyond our world, finding the biggest and most powerful natural phenomena. Employing his clear, authoritative, yet down-to-earth approach, he will explore how these previously unseen phenomena have dramatically expanded our horizons with new discoveries about the planets and how they came to be.
Professor Brian Cox, OBE is a particle physicist, a Royal Society research fellow, and a professor at the University of Manchester. He is a researcher on one of the most ambitious experiments on Earth, the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider in Europe. Brian is best known to the public as a science broadcaster and presenter of the highly popular SBS and BBC series Wonders of the Solar System. He was also the keyboard player in the UK pop band D:Ream in the 1990s.

the recent one i bought EVERYTHIND THAT CAN HAPPEN DOES HAPPEN.
i was getting to grips with quantum mechanics, then the particle clocks came along, i’m afraid they blew me out the widow, just couldn’t get it at all. not your fault the book was presented very clearly, just went right over my head.
ilove physics especially particles . very intriguing and of course our basic building blocks i need to know about.
